The elusive Ivory Billed was officially declared extinct in the 1940s, so could recently reported sightings in the Arkansas bayou have any foundation in fact? As busloads of fanatical birdwatchers descend upon a small Arkansas town in hopes of being the first to find evidence of the Ivory Billed , amateur birder/poet Johnny Neander remains certain he'll be the one to confirm the bird's existence.
